Update on the hunt for Nation 002, prized and rare acid techno record that just came out: HeartBeat Crazy, the A side track on Nation 002 is playing on my record player right now. 1 DAY LATER. That is a miracle. And honestly, it was only possible thanks to the personal and tireless efforts of the artist and producer himself, Melvin Oliphant III, sending me leads and updates on FB and ultimately hooking me up with Sect right here in Toronto. That is some powerful stuff happening.

I've been spending a lot of time lately encoding my old 70's reggae and dub vinyl. Some of my favourite music is contained in this collection,and I've been anxious about its preservation for some time now, painstakingly cleaning each side of every record, encoding through a special USB turntable at the highest quality settings.
